Battambang has changed so much since i first came here in 2004. It's amazing how fast things are picking up. Visitors used to say that Battambang was like Malaysia 30 years ago but unlike Malaysia, i'm sure it's gonna take less time to get to what Malaysia is like now.

Here's a new bridge recently completed (about 4 months ago) that brings Gems to UniED within walking distance (5 min walk).

UniED is now situated facing this park...which is the hot-spot between 4 and 7pm. There are food stalls, peddlars selling toys, aerobic sessions in 2 different ends of the park, youth playing football and badminton, along with kids and their parents running behind them.
