Being Nice, Part 2

So, i went all berserk the other day and this is the sequel to that post, 'Being Nice'. I was doing some reading 2 nights ago, after just returning from Pursat. Timely, because i was beginning to wonder if i would be as nasty this time i'm home as i was last time around..and found these quotations, that upon reflection, helps me cope with being small. 'Abdu'l-Baha says:

"Grief and sorrow, do not come to us by chance, they are sent to us by the Divine Mercy for our own perfecting... Men who suffer not, attain no perfection..... The more a man is chastened, the greater is the harvest of spiritual virtues shown forth by him...."

"Whenever you recognize the fault of another, think of yourself. Ask yourself: "What are my imperfections?' and try to overcome them."

"Contentment is real wealth. If one develops within himself the quality of contentment he will become independent. Contentment is the creator of happiness."

So, for some wise reason, all of these 3 quotations were lumped together in one page...seemingly, just for me to learn the lessons i need to learn. Wish me luck in trying to put them to practice!
