Beautiful Cambodia

As part of my new responsibilities with the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program, I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel around Cambodia a little more this year. Cambodia has 23 provinces and i've managed to visit only about 5 places since i've been here (spent at least a night).

This year, i'm scheduled to spend about a week in 11 clusters, in 9 provinces, 7 of which i've never stayed at (even though i've passed through numerous times on bus trips). Anyhow, the first visit was to Pursat cluster (1 - 6 May 2009) and then, to Preah Vihear cluster (28 May - 4 June). More stories later, but here are a few pictures of other beautiful parts of Cambodia :D

Sunset in Pursat
An evening out on the Sampov Meah island (Golden Boat Island) with a group of about 12 animators before continuing with our night sessions of studying documents about the JYSEP

On the way to Roveang, Preah Vihear

Imagine looking out of your house to sceneries like these:

Some pictures of the everyday life out in the villages:
Quiet streets at noon-time
Piglets taking a dip in the afternoon heat

The following pictures were taken in Songkom Thmei, also in Preah Vihear. I will have to spend more time on a whole blog post about getting to Songkom Thmei. As Cheng Ra, a friend of mine, describes, "Songkom Thmei is the kind of place if i am not there, i do not want to go there but if i am in there, i do not want to get out from."
